PV Sindhu, Sameer Verma enter Korea Open badminton quarter-finals with easy win

Seoul: Olympic medalist PV Sindhu and Sameer Verma won their respective matches Thursday to enter the quarterfinals of Korea Open Badminton. In the second round, Sindhu defeated Nicholan Jindapol of Thailand 22-20, 21-17 in 42 minutes. With this win, Sindhu has registered his career 2-1 against Jindapol.but Parupalli Kashyap bowed out of the USD 600,000 Korea Open badminton following a narrow defeat in the second round.
